Dentures are Removable Artificial Teeth and Gums That Replace Missing Teeth.

At Impeccable Smiles, we want you to feel confident about making decisions regarding your oral health. Let’s start by discussing what dentures are to help you decide if they are right for you.

There are several reasons why a person could lose their teeth: Gum disease, trauma, poor oral hygiene, an underlying illness affecting bone strength, age, or having uncontrolled diabetes, among others. If you’ve lost a tooth, several, or all of them, you are not alone. However, this does not mean that you have to get used to a new life without your pearly whites.

At Impeccable Smiles, we use the latest state-of-the-art technology to custom design dentures. This means they’ll fit your mouth like your own teeth and perfectly match the shape and color of the rest of your dentition, as well as your facial structure. These oral prosthetics are constructed with a plastic resin base that fits comfortably to fit, feel, and function like natural teeth.

The benefits of dentures to replace lost teeth are several:

  • Restore your confidence when smiling.
  • Speak without any discomfort or mispronunciations.
  • Eat the foods you’ve always enjoyed eating.
  • Improve your physical appearance.
Depending on your needs, we can create Partial dentures, which are designed to fill the spaces left by one or two missing teeth, or full dentures replace all of your missing teeth.

Full dentures are a great option for adults and seniors who have lost all the teeth in a dental arch, as they can improve self-esteem and, more importantly, give you back the tooth function you need to improve your quality of life.

They’re both removable for easy cleaning and sleeping. They are also comfortable to wear, so you can go on about your day without constantly thinking about them.

What are dentures made of?

We construct our clients’ denture according to their specific medical needs. Some clients are only missing a few teeth and choose a removable partial denture; while others may need a full or complete denture after the extraction of all their remaining teeth.

Dentures can be made to be completely acrylic or acrylic with a metal base. The first step in making dentures is getting a good impression of the client’s teeth to make a model of any remaining teeth and bony structures of the mouth. These impressions are then sent to a lab, where either a partial denture, immediate denture, or final denture are made.

Immediate dentures are used in the construction of full dentures. Immediate dentures (also known as healing dentures) are worn immediately after extractions to allow the bone and gum tissue to heal until they are ready for their final set.

As swelling decreases during the healing process, the client may need to schedule follow-up appointments as frequently as once a week to adjust the size of the immediate dentures.
