What is a crown?
If you want a smile that’s your crowning glory, you may need a crown to cover a tooth to help maintain its strength and vitality. A crown prevents tooth fracture and tooth loss and improves its appearance.

Impeccable Smiles is celebrating Oral Health Month!

Oral Health Month is a reminder about the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene! Good oral hygiene includes brushing, flossing, and regular dental cleaning appointments. Without such interventions, this bacteria can cause tooth decay, gum disease, and severe health problems such as heart conditions and diabetes.

Celebrate Oral Health Month!

  1. Take care of oral issues
  2. Smile and show off your oral health
  3. Make a dental appointment

June is Men’s Health Month

This month is an excellent time to remind men to take better care of themselves. And because good oral health is directly linked to longevity, the timing is perfect for this reminder: Take better care of your teeth and gums.

Here are five things to do to avoid Oral Health Risks

  1. Schedule regular dental appointments.
  2. Brushing and flossing twice a day can prevent gum disease.
  3. Men typically have to take medication for heart or blood pressure. These medicines reduce the saliva flow within the mouth, causing a “dry mouth” effect. This makes men more susceptible to tooth decay and cavities. Ask your dentist how to reduce dry mouth.
  4. If you are 45 – 59, add oral cancer screening to your annual dental exam.
  5. Men tend to lose teeth more. Protect your teeth by wearing sports mouthguards and maintaining good oral care.
